What the service does
You give us a story about someone. We use it to write lyrics and record a song with an AI music model, plus a short spoken introduction. You read the lyrics before anything is recorded and hear the song before you pay.
What you get, and what you can do with it
When you pay for a song you receive full ownership of that song and unrestricted rights to use it — personally or commercially, forever, anywhere. Play it at a wedding, post it, print it, put it in a video. We claim no rights over it and we will not resell it. One honest legal note: under current US law, works generated purely by AI are not eligible for copyright protection. That means what you hold is complete freedom to use the song, not a copyright you could enforce against someone else. For a gift this makes no practical difference, and we would rather tell you than let you find out.
What you may not submit
Do not ask for a song in the style of, or in the voice of, a named recording artist — the music model’s terms prohibit impersonating real artists, and requests naming one will be refused. Do not submit content that is illegal, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit involving minors, or someone else’s private information you have no right to share.
Payment, plans and cancellation
Single is a one-time payment. Pro and Platinum are subscriptions that renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your dashboard, in one click, and we email you three days before every renewal. Cancelling stops future charges; it does not remove songs you already made.
Refunds
See the Refund Policy. In short: re-record the song once for free, and if it’s still not right, reply to your receipt within 14 days.
What we don’t promise
AI generation varies. We don’t promise a particular voice, arrangement, or emotional effect, and we don’t promise the recipient will cry. The service is provided as-is. Our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the previous twelve months.
Accounts and misuse
Keep your account credentials to yourself. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service — automated scraping, payment fraud, or repeatedly submitting prohibited content.
Changes, law, and contact
We may update these terms; material changes are emailed to registered users. These terms are governed by the laws applicable at Peter’s Lab’s place of business. Questions: hello@personalizeasong.com.
